Bhagyashree Ghag: Graduate Student

I completed my Masters from University of Mumbai, India in 2018. In addition to my Masters research I worked in a marine biotech lab under the guidance of Dr. Madhavi Indap, focusing on secondary metabolites from several marine organisms and their potential bioactivities.

I started my PhD in the MCDBN program at UIC in the year 2019 and joined Shingleton laboratory shortly after. I am currently working on understanding the process of patterning and plasticity in wing imaginal disc of D. melanogaster.
