Matt Weed: Graduate Student

I got my BS in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular, Cellular and Organismal Biology in May 2020 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During my undergraduate degree, I worked in the Lynch lab researching phenotypic expression in RNAi gene knockdowns in Nasonia vitripennis. I continued my work in the Lynch lab after gradation researching gene effects on the development of the oosome in Nasonia vitripennis

I joined the MCDBN Ph.D. program in August 2022 at the University of Illinois at Chicago and have been a proud member of the Shingleton Lab since.
